Lions Camps and Youth Exchange is a life-changing experience for young people through traveling to another country, living with a host family, participating in a camp and experiencing another culture.

Unlike other exchange programs, the Lions International Youth Camp and Exchange Program is not conducted for tourism, education or employment. Instead, it is a unique cultural learning opportunity.

Participating clubs (and individual Lions) sponsor youth from their local communities to participate and travel overseas. District Clubs also serve as hosts to Lions sponsored youth from other countries while they visit Montana. The responsibilities for clubs and individuals vary with the specific arrangements as agreed upon between sponsor clubs, hosts, youth and their parents, and the District Youth Exchange Chair. Sponsoring Lions may help with expenses for youth in need or may simply facilitate participation in the program.
